It focuses on constructing new centers, and where there is redevelopment potential, redeveloping existing centers in both capital cities and regional centers. Plaza Centers N.V. is an indirect subsidiary of Elbit Imaging Ltd. (EI), an Israeli company listed on NASDAQ and TASE. Plaza is in the process of developing 29 shopping and entertainment center and mixed used projects, which are under various stages of development. The Company is active in 9 countries including Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia, Latvia and India. For 2007 the Company presented record net profits of 227m EUR excluding any revaluations and subsequently paid a dividend of 57m EUR. The market value of its portfolio upon completion is estimated at 3.5 billion EUR.
